Plan ahead for this blessed month by exploring the inner meaning and significance of Ramadan. The virtues of Ramadan and fasting will be brought forth with an examination of relevant Qur'anic verses and Prophetic traditions.
An in-depth look at the Fiqh of fasting providing you with a distillation of the authentic sources from the Hanafi school will also be coupled with the practical aspects that many of us struggle to balance during this month:
- how can I accommodate this ideal into my life?
- making the most of Ramadan in a non-Muslim or work environment
- special issues for women, new Muslims, students, and people with busy schedules
- how can I ensure the benefits of Ramadan imbue the rest of the year?
