Explanation of Imam Busiri's Burda with Shaykh Idris Watts
(inlcuding a recitation of the poem and other qasidas)
This monthly gathering will focus on the Qasida Burda of Imam Busiri. Shaykh Idris and Shaykh Sa'ad will, on alternate months, provide a commentary on each chapter and complete the whole poem, insha Allah. Sheikh Idris will begin the poem this month with chapter one. At the conclusion of the lecture there will be a recitation of the burda and other qasidas.
